Roslyn Elementary School Welcomes Home A Child Who Spent 100 Days At The Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia
December 8, 2018
Roslyn Elementary School held a parade to welcome home Ms. Cadence Lindley. The seven-year-old had been a patient for 100 days at the Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia. The parade was held on December 3rd.
"Wow!!! Look at all of Cadence’s Ninjas!!!," reads a Facebook Post on Miss Cadence Lindley’s 'Nina’s' Ninja’s Facebook Page. "The entire school came out to CHEER & WELCOME HOME CADENCE!!! She was so surprised and smiled the whole time! Big thanks to her favorite 1st grade teacher Ms. Shore & her principal Dr. Osborne & the staff for putting this parade together!! Mama had tears of joy for sure! You guys are the best!! She was able to finally see and wave to her 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Barnes!"

The Facebook Page was established so that "As you guys know, Cadence was diagnosed with AML [Acute Myeloid Leukemia] in March so we wanted to set up a page to keep everyone up to date with how she’s doing!"
