Charlie The Gecko Eating Dinner In the Daytime

You've seen the GEICO gecko on television, but you might not have known that

Charlie the gecko is a resident of Abington.

Click on the photograph above to watch Charlie as he dines during a rare daytime outing at the Briar Bush Nature Center.  (Take a look at that tongue.)

"Charlie is a 2-year old crested gecko," according to the Briar Bush Nature Center.  "Because geckos are nocturnal, Charlie spends most of his day sleeping and hiding from potential predators.  When Charlie's awake a night, he can climb almost anything."
