Autum Shingler-Nace Joins Jefferson Health

Jefferson Health announced a recent addition to its executive leadership in New Jersey.

“Dr. Autum Shingler-Nace has been named Assistant Vice President of Clinical Services at Jefferson Health in New Jersey,” according to a news statement from Jefferson Health.  “In 2017, Shingler-Nace received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Pittsburgh in health systems executive leadership, with a focus on Compassion Fatigue in Nursing. She also holds a Master’s in Nursing Administration from Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania, and is a 2011 BSN graduate of Penn State University.”

“In this position [at Jefferson Health], Dr. Shingler-Nace will assist Chief Nurse Executive Helene Burns,” the statement continued, “along with the health system’s Chief Administrative Officers, with operations, management, growth and development of nursing and clinical services at Jefferson Health’s three New Jersey hospitals.”

Among hospitals operated by Jefferson Health is the Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital located at 2201 Chapel Avenue West in Cherry Hill Township.

“Dr. Shingler-Nace joins Jefferson [Health] from Cooper University Health System in Camden, where she served as Clinical Director in various roles in the Children’s Regional Hospital,” the news statement continued. “She had also served as Director of the Surgery Center at Heritage Valley Health System in Pennsylvania (2014-2016). Dr. Shingler-Nace also held several leadership positions in procedural departments at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she was honored with a Quality Fellow Award in 2014.”

According to the news statement, Dr. Shingler-Nace is “Board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)…and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, AONE (American Organization of Nurse Executives), and the Southern New Jersey Perinatal Cooperative.”
